Preserve Our History

We are always interested in collecting items of historical or cultural significance from the Wyalkatchem area. The museum is accessioning its collection in the interests of preserving history, so any stories about items donated will definitely enhance the process. It gives us the tools to make displays more informative.

We are also collecting oral histories and photo albums. To have names and dates on photos is very helpful. In time, photos may all be scanned.

We have a temperature controlled container for books & manuals for machinery etc, which will eventually be listed, and possibly accessible to the public.

If you have items to donate then please fill in the form & submit it - or give us a call to see if we are interested (we probably don’t need any more ‘Mrs Potts irons’ or Tilly lanterns!).

Please use this form for items

you would like to donate
